Since 1965, Sehgal Group of Industries has been manufacturing and marketing quality EVA, natural rubber and other crossed linked polymer based footwear. The company started by riding on the industrialization wave in India during the 1960's and is now spread across
three manufacturing facilities that feed the domestic as well as overseas markets.
The three manufacturing plants jointly produce 25,000 pairs per day using cutting-edge expanded synthetic materials,
injection-molding processes, equipment and chemical compositions. The professional team of design researchers, engineers and craftsmen at Sehgal combine technological advances in production and materials to create superior quality products. The high quality in which the company takes exceptional pride -- is exemplified in the products' smooth seams; well-defined detail; lack of imperfections; durability; and flexible, comfortable fit. The manufacturing facilities are situated in Jalandhar district of Punjab Province
in Northern India with easy access by Air, Road and Train. International markets are well served by nearby Ludhiana port and by New Delhi and Bombay ports. Sehgal footwear is sold in shoe stores, upscale department stores and sporting goods stores. The
distribution system consists of distributors in all the major cities in India supported by efficient marketing & sales department.
The company is a proprietary ownership of the Sehgal family which is now into the 3rd generation of management. The tradition
of the company is to provide "high value products at low delivered cost."
