Sehgal Exports to foray into Injection Molded footwear
Jalandhar, June 25, 2002: Sehgal Exports here today made the final decision to
foray into EVA injection molding footwear segment. The company is evaluating
its options to procure the machines from Italy or Taiwan. According to the company,
there are opportunities in injection molded finished footwear products like sport
shoes, sandals and slippers as well as footwear components like mid soles and
unit soles and footwear inserts.
Sehgal Exports to Produce compound for Injection Molded Footwear
Jalandhar, August17, 2002: In a move to ensure product quality and better prices of
end products, Sehgal exports today decided to manufacture the compound required
for Injection molded EVA products in house. The company has decided to procure
the compound from the market for first couple of months and to manufacture the
compound in its Sports & Surgical Complex plant thereafter.
